Generating Reports from Case-Based Knowledge Artifacts

چکیده
Knowledge artifacts are units retained in repository-based knowledge management systems (KMS). When adopting cases as the representation for knowledge artifacts in KMS, one of the benefits is the automated construction of reports.

An Ontology-based Software Test Generation Framework
In automated test generation, granting control to test experts over test selection can enhance quality of generated test suites. However, in many cases test experts’ control is limited and they can not define custom coverage criteria. This work proposes a general framework for application of knowledge engineering to software testing, which facilitates specification of custom coverage criteria a...
متن کاملA partition-based algorithm for clustering large-scale software systems
Clustering techniques are used to extract the structure of software for understanding, maintaining, and refactoring. In the literature, most of the proposed approaches for software clustering are divided into hierarchical algorithms and search-based techniques. In the former, clustering is a process of merging (splitting) similar (non-similar) clusters. These techniques suffered from the drawba...
متن کاملIsolating Mechanisms: Can Managers Protect Rent Generating, Knowledge Based Assets?
The resource-based view is a theory of firm performance. Its principal argument is that a firm=s distinctive competencies are the bases for sustainable competitive advantage. These distinctive competencies are explicitly knowledge based resources. How do managers protect these rent generating assets--the skill sets and organizational routines of high value workers--from dissipation? Theory sugg...
متن کاملA Textual Case-Based Reasoning Framework for Knowledge Management Applications
Knowledge management (KM) systems manipulate organizational knowledge by storing and redistributing corporate memories that are acquired from the organization’s members. In this paper, we introduce a textual casebased reasoning (TCBR) framework for KM systems that manipulates organizational knowledge embedded in artifacts (e.g., best practices, alerts, lessons learned). The TCBR approach acquir...
متن کاملUtilizing Multifaceted Requirement Traceability Approach: a Case Study
Software evolution is inevitable. When a system evolves, there are certain relationships among software artifacts that must be maintained. Requirement traceability is one of the important factors in facilitating software evolution since it maintains the artifacts relationship before and after a change is performed. Requirement traceability can be expensive activities. Many researchers have addr...
